Thats a metaphor for people! “Four in the morning” is referencing crawling as a baby in early life, “two at noon” as walking as an adult, and “three at night” as reference to using a cane when you become old.
Now that I think of it, wasn’t that like the riddle of the sphinx? 🤔 I’m rusty on my historical legends/fables/stories….
