Oh, that actually reminded me, I had another Southern MC phrase: “I’d bet you a dollar and a half to a cow and a calf….” My Gramma says that a lot. To anyone, they’ll all be equally confused. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That is one I haven’t heard before.

Oh, yeah, it’s a phrase my Gramma says a lot, which basically means “I’m absolutely sure of this.” As in, “I’d bet you a dollar and a half to a cow and a calf he’s up to no good” = “I’m 100% sure he’s up to no good” lol

It’s a curious one for sure but surely close to my heart and I hope to utilise the phrase one day πŸ˜‚

I will use it! Lol. Its rather surprising that I haven’t heard it though. I come from cow farmer stock and well they love their cow sayings…
